Call for international research projects against Epidermolysis Bullosa (DEBRA International)

DEBRA International is a worldwide network of national groups working for patients suffering from epidermolysis bullosa.
Research priorities of this call for projects are:

Improving our understanding of the biology and genetics of all forms of EB, as better understanding can lead to new approaches to diagnose and treat EB
Working towards the development of therapies (including possible gene-therapies, cell-therapies, drug therapies or protein therapies)
Understanding the nature of wound healing and the development of skin cancer in EB, and seek to develop better treatments and prevention strategies
Supporting clinical care research to improve the management of EB through symptom relief

The deadline for submission is 1 April 2016.
