Art Contest

Since 2015, the René Touraine Foundation, through its Rare Diseases network, has set up an art contest to make aware of rare skin diseases, to allow patients to express themselves and to encourage discussion.

The art contest is an international event open to all ! Whether you are patient, professional or just curious, we all have skin. Everyone can express their feelings about their own skin, about the disease and those of others.

Each year, the theme different in relation to the skin and rare diseases. The theme chosen for this year was “A fleur de peau ” / “Sensitive Skin”.

The competition is launched during the Dermatological Day of Paris (December) and ends on the occasion of the International Day of Rare Diseases - Rare Disease Day (February).

The jury is composed of Patient Association representatives, members of the Executive Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Fondation René Touraine and interested partners.

For the 2021 edition, we received 207 drawings from 23 countries !!
